The Federal Government has slammed a six-month travel ban on 100 defaulting passengers, who failed to comply with the protocol making it mandatory for incoming passengers to subject themselves to post-arrival COVID-19 PCR test, seven days after arrival in the country. The Presidential Taskforce PTF on COVID-19 has also revealed the international passport numbers of the banned 100 air travelers.
This was disclosed by Taskforce on Saturday in a tweet posted by the Presidency Office of Digital Engagement PODE.
The PTF also confirmed that the affected passengers have been notified and will be prevented from out of the country during the period.
The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha, had earlier in the week said the affected travelers would be published before the end of the week.
