Investors Lose N45.93bn As Equities Market Dips By -0.25%

The Equities market closed Thursday on a negative note, as the Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index, NSEASI depreciated by -0.25% to close at 34,968.94 basis points as against -0.26% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +30.28%.

Market breadth closed negative as MBENEFIT led 13 Gainers as against 25 Losers topped by UNITYBNK at the end of today’s session – an unimproved performance when compared with the previous outlook.

Market turnover closes negative as volume moved down by -21.57% as against +19.72% uptick recorded in the previous session. UBA,

ZENITHBANK and MTNN were the most active to boost market turnover. MTNN and ZENITHBANK topped the market value list.

MTNN led the list of active stocks that recorded an impressive volume spike at the end of Thursday’s session.
