Again, the equities market closed Friday on a negative note, as the Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index NSEASI depreciated by -0.94% to close at 34,250.74 basis points as against -1.27% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +27.60%.
Market breadth closed positive as FTNCOCOA led 29 Gainers as against 9 Losers topped by DANGCEM at the end of today’s session – an improved performance when compared with the previous outlook.
Market turnover closed positive as volume moved up by +43.71% as against the +95.68% uptick recorded in the previous session. JAIZBANK,
REGALINS and ACCESS were the most active to boost market turnover.
ZENITHBANK and ACCESS topped the market value list.
JAIZBANK led the list of active stocks that recorded an impressive volume spike at the end of Friday’s session.
