FG Okays N12.44 bn for Projects in  Environment, Petroleum Ministries

The Federal Executive Council (FEC) has approved contracts for awards worth about N2.449 billion for projects in the ministries of Petroleum Resources and Environment.

Briefing correspondents after Wednesday’s meeting of the council presided over by President Muhammadu Buhari at the Presidential Villa, Abuja, the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, Tmipreye Silva, said that the council approved the award and procurement for the provision of a Conference Hostel Facility in Yenagoa, at the sum of N22 billion to Megastar Technical Construction Company with completion period of 24 months. READ MORE

2 Die in Lagos Boat Mishap 

Two female passengers died after a boat mishap in Ikorodu, Lagos State on Wednesday, according to the Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA).
