A popular Nollywood actress, Ada Ameh has died at 48.
Ameh was said to have been a guest of an oil company top shot and his family when she suddenly collapsed.
A source who pleaded anonymity said on Monday morning that the popular actress, died in Warri, Delta State around 11 pm on Sunday.
The popular actress had earlier shared a video of herself eating with the family around 12:53 pm on Sunday on her official Instagram page before death came calling later at night.
She captioned the video with the following words; “This trip for my friend’s elder sister, is just an enjoyment galore!!! Thanks, my darling sister Phil❤️❤️ I really enjoyed myself!! God bless my love ❤️❤️May dreams come true in Jesus Christ’s name”.
It was gathered that she was rushed to the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) hospital shortly after she slumped but passed on before they arrived at the facility.
However, several movie stars have been trooping to the facility on Monday morning to see her remains.
Ameh, who played the role of Anita in the movie ‘Domitilla’ in 1996, is famous for her comic characters, especially in the series The Johnsons. She was born on May 15, 1974, in Ajegunle, Lagos State.
In October 2020, Ameh lost her daughter, Aladi Godgift, who was over 30 years old after an unsuccessful surgery.
