The equities market closed Thursday on a negative note, as the Nigerian Stock Exchange All Share Index NSEASI dipped by -1.27% to close at 34,577.26 basis points as against -0.04% depreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at +28.82%.

Market breadth closed negative as OKOMUOIL led 6 Gainers as against 40 Losers topped by FBNH at the end of Thursday’s session – an unimproved performance when compared with the previous outlook.

Market turnover closed positive as volume moved up by +95.68% as against the -7.76% downtick recorded in the previous session. GUARANTY, ZENITHBANK, and TRANSCORP were the most active to boost market turnover. GUARANTY and ZENITHBANK topped the market value list.
