VP Osinbajo To Undergo Surgery Over ‘Recurring Leg Pain’

Nigeria’s Vice-President, Yemi Osinbajo, is currently at the hospital for a surgical procedure over a recurring pain in his leg.

The spokesman to the vice-president, Laolu Akande, disclosed this in a tweet on Saturday.

Akande in the tweet also said the VP’s doctors will issue an update on the treatment later.

Akande disclosed that the pain could be attributed to an injury Osinbajo sustained while playing squash.

According to Akande, “VP Osinbajo is in the hospital today for a surgical procedure on account of recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash. Osinbajo also disclose his health status in another tweet on Saturday.

“I have been admitted today to the hospital for a surgical procedure on account of a recurrent pain in the leg possibly sustained from an injury while playing squash,” Osinbajo said.
