For bringing a notable invigoration into the activities of the Bureau of Public Enterprises, BPE in the last four years, President Muhammadu Buhari has rewarded Mr. Alexander Ayoola Okoh, the Director-General of the agency with another four years in office.
The renewal which takes effect from 10th April 2021, is in accordance with the provision of Section 17 (1)(a) and (2)(a) of the Public Enterprise (Privatization & Commercialization) Act, 1999.
This was contained in a statement issued on Thursday by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media & Publicity, Office of the Vice President, Laolu Akande.
The BPE is the Federal Government agency charged with economic reforms, especially the privatization and commercialisation of government-owned enterprises in the country.
